Introduction to Clay with Jon Torres
For beginners who are interested in experimenting with both throwing on the pottery wheel and handbuilding. On the wheel covers basic wedging, centering and trimming to create functional forms. Handbuilding includes pinch, coil, and slab methods of building. Students can pursue whichever method inspires them!

Intermediate Clay Level I/II with Jessica Dubin 
This class is designed for ceramic students who consider themselves “Beyond Beginner”. It will offer the opportunity to hone skills, both on and off the wheel, and to experiment with new methods of making objects in clay. Students will be encouraged to refine their understanding of ceramic processes from start to finish.

Teens on the Wheel with Jon Torres
Teens on the Wheel provides an introduction to wheel throwing for teenagers. Students will learn basic wheel techniques, create bowls, vases, and other fun and useful forms! Basic glazing and firing techniques will also be covered. Ages 12-18.
8 Thursdays Sept 11 - Oct 30 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm

Kids N’ Clay After School with Jon Torres
An introduction to clay exploring basic methods of hand-building. Students create projects where they use their imagination, learn technical clay skills, and have fun making both functional and sculptural projects. Age 7-14

Intermediate Wheel Level I/II with Deborah Lecce Beginner/ Intermediate
For students who have taken a prior wheel class. This class continues to explore wheel technique, building the necessary skills to take pieces to the next level. A variety of handbuilding techniques will also be covered. Weekly demonstrations with individual attention for each student.

Advanced Wheel Level II with Deborah Lecce Intermediate/Advanced
Learn new techniques on and off the potters wheel. Students will work with combined and altered form, creating sets as well as continuing to build on throwing skills.Some handbuilding techniques will also be included.
8 Tuesdays Sept 9 - Oct 28 from 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Seniors’ Ceramics: Form & Function with Karen Jaimes Beginner/ Intermediate 
Learn basic hand-building techniques, such as pinch pot, slab, slip and score, and coil. Create relief tiles, a human bust, and other fun clay sculptures. Students explore various decorating techniques, such as Mishima, appliqué, sgraffito and impression. Students will have completed artworks throughout the session. No experience necessary. Be ready to learn and have fun!
Mondays 2:30pm - 4:30pm $100 + firing fees** (per 4 class sessions)
